Yaw Emmanuel Osei
Tabla player and teacher in Accra
- 🇬🇭 Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana
- Accra Oakwood Orchestra
- Since 1999
- English, Twi
I play tabla and jazz. I started in 1999 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 7 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Yaw
I write my first song when I was 18. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Yaw: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
