I teach mathematics at Ashford Boys' School in Cairo since 1987. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I never turn anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

If you were in my Grade 8 class, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.
