Yasir Fahad Hashmi
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇰 Multan, Punjab, Pakistan
- Starlight Trades Guild
- 2004 to 2022
- English, Urdu
I've worked in pottery from 2004 to 2022. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 1,060 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Yasir
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Yasir: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
