Yashodha Kavindi Rathnayake

19 years teaching materials science at Jaffna State University

  • 🇱🇰 Jaffna, Northern, Sri Lanka
  • Jaffna State University
  • 1990 to 2020
  • English, Sinhala
I spent 30 years as a lecturer in materials science at Jaffna State University in Jaffna. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Yashodha: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
