I teach environmental science at Kadıköy Grammar School in Kadıköy since 1986. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 1,840 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Yasemin: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
