I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's netball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Yasemin
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

You taught me music in 2019 at Ankara High School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
