Yasemin Büşra Çakır
Sitar player and teacher in Üsküdar
- 🇹🇷 Üsküdar, Istanbul, Türkiye
- Üsküdar Ensemble
- 1995 to 2020
- English, Turkish
I play sitar and guitar. I started in 1995 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 11 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Yasemin
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Yasemin: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
