Yared Surafel Desta

25 years teaching computer science at Adama Polytechnic

  • 🇪🇹 Adama, Oromia, Ethiopia
  • Adama Polytechnic
  • Since 1988
  • English, Amharic
My subject is computer science, and for 38 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Adama Polytechnic. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
