Yared Dereje Kebede

Local carpentry and tailoring

  • 🇪🇹 Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
  • Since 2008
  • English, Amharic
I've worked in carpentry since 2008. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 630 apprentices. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I watch every football match going. I'm still learning every day.

More about Yared

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.

What gifts mean to Yared: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
