Yarden Maya Dayan
Master of leatherwork, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇱 Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv, Israel
- Mount Pleasant Repairs
- Since 1986
- English, Hebrew, Spanish
I've worked in leatherwork since 1986. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 2,000 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I fix old bicycles.
More about Yarden
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Yarden: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
