For eight years I was the geography teacher at Jakarta Middle School. I taught the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 230 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Yanti
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the coast, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Yanti: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
