I taught English literature at Baobab Public School in Jakarta Barat from 1978 to 2005. Most days I taught Year 7, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Yanti
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Yanti: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
