Yann Blanchard
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇫🇷 Bordeaux, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France
- Windsor Workshop
- 2001 to 2022
- French
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 2001 in Bordeaux and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I walk the dog by the river.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Yann: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
