I'm a ceramics artist based in Baton Rouge. I've been making things from 1991 to 2005 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Baton Rouge Gallery, which keeps me honest.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Yan
I've had 8 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Yan: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
