Yan Rui Lin
24 years teaching agriculture in New Orleans
- 🇺🇸 New Orleans, Louisiana, United States
- 1983 to 2009
- English, Mandarin
For 26 years I was the agriculture teacher at Harbor Academy. I taught primary school children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

What gifts mean to Yan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
