Yamuna Thevar
Self-taught graphic design artist
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- The Bamboo Art Collective
- 1996 to 2023
- English, Tamil
I work mostly in graphic design, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 1996 at The Bamboo Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I walk the dog by the river.
More about Yamuna
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Yamuna: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
