Yamuna J. Bhat
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Siliguri, West Bengal, India
- Siliguri Works
- Since 1983
- English, Telugu, French
My trade is masonry. I opened my own shop in 1983 in Siliguri and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
More about Yamuna
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Yamuna: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
