Yamini B. Malhotra
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
- Little Mumbai Works
- Since 1987
- English, Hindi
I'm a shoemaking specialist. If you live around Mumbai, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
More about Yamini
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Yamini: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
