I work mostly in embroidery, sometimes illustration. My first show was in 1980 at Queensway Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Yakubu
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Yakubu: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
