Yakubu Kingsley Tijani
Coached hockey for 13 years in Bonny
- 🇳🇬 Bonny, Rivers, Nigeria
- Bonny Swimming Club
- Since 2013
- English, Igbo
I've coached hockey at Bonny Swimming Club since 2013. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Yakubu
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.

What gifts mean to Yakubu: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
