Yakubu Ikenna Balogun
Journalist and author
- 🇳🇬 Awka, Anambra, Nigeria
- Since 2000
- English
I'm a writer in Awka. Fiction is my first love and food writing is my second.
I write best early in the morning with a pot of tea. I fix old bicycles.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Yakubu
Some of my pieces still make me wince. Some, I'm proud of.
What gifts mean to Yakubu: I'd put a gift toward a research trip.
