Yakubu Henry Afolabi
Economics and music teacher, Wudil
- 🇳🇬 Wudil, Kano, Nigeria
- Since 2007
- English
For 19 years I have been the economics teacher at Wudil Primary School. I teach Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Yakubu
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
