Yakubu Bello Lasisi
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Oakwood Trades Guild
- 1999 to 2014
- English
I'm a thatching specialist. If you live around Kano, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
More about Yakubu
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
