Yakubu Abubakar Onyeama
Master of upholstery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ogbomosho, Oyo, Nigeria
- 2018 to 2025
- English, Yoruba
My trade is upholstery. I opened my own shop in 2018 in Ogbomosho and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Yakubu: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
