Xue Yu Lin

Chess and fitness coach, San Francisco

  • 🇺🇸 San Francisco, California, United States
  • Bayview Athletic Club
  • 1996 to 2023
  • English
I coached chess at Bayview Athletic Club from 1996 to 2023. Most of my players were between 10 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.

More about Xue

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
