Xiu Na Chen
Teacher at Seattle Academy, loves early years
- 🇺🇸 Seattle, Washington, United States
- Seattle Academy
- 1984 to 2011
- English, Mandarin
I came to teaching late, after working as a nurse, and 27 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I had 1,130 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

What gifts mean to Xiu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me early years in 2021 at Seattle Academy. I still remember the surprise birthday cake.
