Xin Shan Chen
Bass player and teacher in Syracuse
- 🇺🇸 Syracuse, New York, United States
- Syracuse Quartet
- Since 1996
- English
I play bass and violin. I started in 1996 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Xin
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Xin: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
