Ximena T. Green
Master of thatching, now teaching apprentices
- 🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom
- Little Trinity Works
- Since 1994
- English
I've worked in thatching since 1994. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,120 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I'm usually the first one in and the last to leave.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

What gifts mean to Ximena: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.

you fixed our roof in 1994 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Sacramento.
