Ximena S. Ibarra
Chemistry and biology teacher, Madrid
- 🇪🇸 Madrid, Madrid, Spain
- Madrid Boys' School
- 2006 to 2023
- Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I learned every name in the first week.
More about Ximena
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Ximena: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me chemistry in 2024 at Madrid Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard

You taught me chemistry in 2012 at Madrid Boys' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
