Ximena N. James

Professor of sociology, Westbrook Polytechnic

  • 🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom
  • Westbrook Polytechnic
  • 2013 to 2021
  • English
I taught sociology at Westbrook Polytechnic from 2013 to 2021, and supervised 49 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Ximena

I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
