I teach economics at Silverlake Public School in Los Angeles since 2009. Most days I teach primary school children, and I learn every name in the first week.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Ximena
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
