Ximena K. Paredes
Choir director and singer
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Bogotá Ensemble
- 1980 to 2014
- Spanish
I play tabla and jazz. I started in 1980 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 18 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Ximena
I wrote my first song when I was 21. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Ximena: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
