I teach art and physics at Baobab High School, Los Angeles. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I've coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Ximena
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
What gifts mean to Ximena: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me art in 2002 at Baobab High School. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won.
