Ximena C. Peña
First-generation students mentor, Rosario
- 🇦🇷 Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina
- Rosario Learning Hub
- Since 2018
- Spanish
For eight years I've mentored people in first-generation students and trades. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I sing in a choir.
More about Ximena
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Ximena: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
