Ximena A. Serrano
Volunteer mentor with Santa Fe Youth Network
- 🇺🇸 Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States
- Santa Fe Youth Network
- 2006 to 2025
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 360 people through Santa Fe Youth Network.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I garden badly but happily.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ximena
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Ximena: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
