Wyatt Howell
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
- Old San Diego Workshop
- 1994 to 2021
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing from 1994 to 2021. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 950 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Wyatt
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Wyatt: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
