Wunmi Efe Obi

Retired environmental science teacher from Ogbomosho Public School

  • 🇳🇬 Ogbomosho, Oyo, Nigeria
  • Ogbomosho Public School
  • 1982 to 1992
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bank clerk, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. Outside the classroom I walk the dog by the river. Inside it, my door was open at lunch.

More about Wunmi

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Wunmi: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

You taught me environmental science in 2015 at Ogbomosho Public School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard! Truly.
