I've coached badminton at Jakarta Football Club since 1990. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
What gifts mean to Wulan: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.

you coached me in 2000. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from San Diego.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
