Wiremu Salesa
Teacher at Manukau Academy, loves agriculture
- 🇳🇿 Manukau, Auckland, New Zealand
- Manukau Academy
- Since 1992
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 34 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the robotics club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I watch every football match going.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Wiremu
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Wiremu: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.

you taught me agriculture in 1995 at Manukau Academy. I still remember the quiz night we nearly won. Thank you again.
