I coached football at Thika Boxing Gym from 1995 to 2014. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I fix old bicycles.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Winnie
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Winnie: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
