For 32 years I've run the chess program at Kampala Central Swimming Club in Kampala. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Winnie
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
