I've volunteered with Rosewood Community Kitchen since 1995. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
Our crew is about 15 people now. Everyone brings something.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Winnie
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Winnie: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
