Winnie Apio Macharia
Traditional drumming player and teacher in Zanzibar City
- 🇹🇿 Zanzibar City, Zanzibar Urban/West, Tanzania
- Zanzibar City Choir
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Swahili
I've played traditional drumming from 2017 to 2025, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
