Winda Lestari Pratama
Taught home economics at Surabaya Middle School
- 🇮🇩 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
- Surabaya Middle School
- 1994 to 2017
- English, Indonesian
I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 23 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
More about Winda
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Winda: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
