Winda Citra Lubis
Self-taught watercolor artist
- 🇮🇩 Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia
- Little Surakarta Print Workshop
- Since 1980
- English
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes embroidery. My first show was in 1980 at Little Surakarta Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Surakarta Print Workshop, which keeps me honest.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Winda
I've had 4 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Winda: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
