Willow R. Ray
Sitar player and teacher in San Jose
- 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
- San Jose Orchestra
- 1996 to 2004
- English
I play sitar and oud. I started in 1996 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 16 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I sing in a choir.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Willow
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.
What gifts mean to Willow: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
