I've coached volleyball at San Jose Community Club since 2009. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
