Willow J. Welch
Coached hockey for 43 years in Derry
- 🇬🇧 Derry, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
- Queensway Sports Club
- Since 1983
- English
I've coached hockey at Queensway Sports Club since 1983. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Willow
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
