I coached rugby at San Jose Pioneer Youth Club from 2011 to 2019. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Willow
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
