Willem Teun Van Dam
Youth cross country coach and mentor
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- Amsterdam Sports Club
- Since 2005
- Dutch
For 21 years I've run the cross country program at Amsterdam Sports Club in Amsterdam. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
More about Willem
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Willem: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
